The philosophic approach of naturopathic physicians to their patients is fundamentally different from the approach of conventional medicine.
The patient's symptoms represent for us a map from which we try to discern the underlying disharmony which is causing the problem.
We work to alleviate the patient's symptoms by
addressing the cause. We do not treat the name of the disease - we treat the person who has the disease.
This healing process is deeper and more time consuming than conventional methods of treatment but the object is for the individual to come through the experience a healthier person physically, mentally, and spiritually.
