Dr. Robert Skarperud, N.D., M.S.
Dr. Skarperud is a licensed, board certified Naturopathic Physician practicing at the oldest naturopathic medical clinic in Central Oregon, the Blue Star Clinic in Bend. In 2006 he started a second practice in Prineville, OR, where he offers weekly appointments. He graduated from Bastyr University School of Naturopathic Medicine in Seattle, WA, in 2004. Additionally, he earned a Masters of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Tufts University School of Nutrition Science and Policy in Boston, Massachussetts, in 1998. His Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology is from the University of Washington in Seattle.
“When not at one of the clinics, I want to spend my time with my family. Some of my other interests include skiing, boating, archery, bird hunting, fly-fishing and camping.”
Dr. Skarperud is in general practice for people of all ages. He utilizes clinical nutrition, customized herbal medicines, bio-identical hormone therapies, homeopathy, pharmaceutical prescription medicines, physical therapy techniques, diagnostic testing and imaging, counseling, preventive medicine, IV micronutrient therapy, and minor surgical procedures.
