After graduating from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR in 1984, Dr. Reingold and his wife, Dianne, immigrated to Canada where he practiced for three years in Waterloo, Ontario. He then took an advanced course in Chinese herbal medicine in Shanghai, China before returning to Oregon and starting the Blue Star Clinic in Bend in February, 1989.
For his entire career Dr. Reingold has believed as Hippocrates taught that the “natural forces within us are the true healers of disease”.

To achieve the goal of stimulating each person’s inner healing energy Dr. Reingold has created a truly eclectic approach that includes acupressure, Oriental and Western herbal medicine, non-force adjustment of the body’s joints, the use of many physical therapy techniques, low-dose homeopathy, diet and nutrition, and counseling/stress management.
