The Doctors

All three doctors are board certified and maintain memberships with the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians.

Dr. Howard Reingold, N.D., graduated from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1984. After practicing in eastern Canada for three years he studied Chinese herbal medicine in Shanghai, China. Upon returning he opened the Blue Star Clinic in Bend in 1989.

Dr. Laurie Grisez, N.D., graduated from Bastyr University School of Naturopathic Medicine in Seattle, Wa in 2004. She received a B.A. from Colorado State University in 1992. Prior to naturopathic medical school, she worked for the Deschutes County Adult Mental Health Department in Bend. Dr. Grisez joined the Blue Star Naturopathic Clinic in 2005. She is a primary care physician offering health care for the whole family.

Dr. Robert Skarperud, N.D., M.S., graduated from Bastyr University School of Naturopathic Medice in Seattle, WA in 2004 and from the Tufts University School of Nutrition Science and Policy in Boston, MA, in 1998 with a masters of science in human nutrition. He joined the Blue Star Naturopathic Clinic in 2005. Dr. Skarperud is in general practice for people of all ages.
